Description

Use Secure password authentication (spa) on SMTP server.

Syntax

vSMTPUseSicily = Account.SMTPUseSicily
Account.SMTPUseSicily = vSMTPUseSicily

Returns

tSMTPUsing - Type of connection to SMTP server

Returns

00 = SMTP Server does not require authentication (My Server Requires Authentication is not checked)
01 = logon using another account name and password + SPA
02 = use same settings as my incomming mail server
03 = logon using another account name and password

Remarks

Registry key: SMTP Use Sicily
Outlook express dialog position:
* Servers tab, Outgoing Mail Server, My Server Requires Authentication
* Servers tab, Outgoing Mail Server, Settings button, Outgoing Mail Server Dialog, Logon information:
- Use same settings as my incoming mail server
- Log on using (Account name + password + Remember password)
- Log on using Secure password authentication (spa)

Export of email account settings to the .iaf file format.

EmailExport

Email Account configuration exporter is an ActiveX/COM library, which let's you work with Outlook and Outlook Express email account configuration in VB script/JScript and other programming languages (t-SQL, C++, VBA, php, c#, Delphi...). You can create POP3, IMAP and HTTP email configurations or NNTP news account and export them directly from the script. You can export all fields, including servers, SPA, user names, emails, passwords, etc.
